Brenda graduated from Hong Kong Shue Yan University with a Master of counselling psychology. After graduation, Brenda has been providing individual and group counselling services and consultation for 10 years in different non-government organizations, private centers and schools as a counselling psychologist in Hong Kong. Before moving to Canada in 2022, she worked in Hong Kong Shue Yan University as a clinical supervisor.
Brenda has specialized in providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults with special educational needs and mental disorders, such as ASD, ADHD and SpLD, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder. She also offers family therapy and parent coaching for ensuring clients to have family support and in a healthy and functional family system. She is dedicated in research for ASD population and their caregivers with her team:

She has received training in the following approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Mindfulness, UCLA PEERS training, CBT-Context Based Social Competence Training for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Zentangle.
